Please note, in an effort to make our program more sustainable, we have raised our ticket prices for the first time in nine years. Online tickets will now include a small service fee we had previously been covering for attendees and in-person tickets have gone up $5 each. This was a decision our team did not make lightly and we hope you still consider us one of the most affordable live events in Fairbanks.

Dark Winter Nights: True Stories from Alaska is returning to the stage for the first time in two years on Saturday, February 26th at 7:00pm in Lathrop High School’s Hering Auditorium. Created and hosted by UAF professor Robert Prince, this is the first show since The New York Times called Dark Winter Nights the “best winter podcast for storytelling lovers.” Stories from the show have aired nationally on NPR’s Weekend Edition and it was featured in the November issue of Alaska Magazine. This show will feature stories from Deb Horner, Matt Irinaga, Dave Runfola, Sarah Sullivan, Dawn Erbeck, and Phoebe Rohrbacher. Masks and proof of vaccination will be required for entry.
